These were fun to make! I’ve been collecting the glass terrariums with the hope to one day make some long lasting paper succulents or the ones who love having greenery around, but don’t like to do the work to keep them alive 🙂 There are a few of these in a limited edition, check out my other listings. This one caught my eye with it’s beautiful geometric shape of two five-walled pyramids on top and bottom. Some of the glass was not there when I bought it, but it allowed me to place the greenery so that it freely flows out of the terrarium, just like a real plant would. I used green crepe paper for the plants. The bed of small rocks is secured to the terrarium and won’t go anywhere 🙂 I poured clear resin on top of the pebbles and let it cure for 24 hours, then also secured the plants on top. The terrarium comes with a metal chain and copper reinforced frames. It can be hung, or placed on a table. I handpainted the leaves to give it more real appearance.
I call this collection, “You Can’t Kille Me”
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Just like my other paper florals, NO WATER, NO HEAT, NO direct SUNLIGHt, only dust off with air duster, wipe off outside of glass with a damp cloth. DO NOT sparay the glass with cleaners – it will damage the paper.
